The Simple Life a poem

Her approach was always unorthodox

Her ways different than most

But it never seemed to bother him

She was the greatest thing since buttered toast!

Arm in arm they faced the world

My odd young lad, My fearless girl

Their ambitions were small

But their shadows so tall ~

They traveled the vastness & back

With only her purse & his old pack ~

Saw sights unimagined

That most never fathomed

But never got big headed with it

& lived happily ever after (somewhere)

Their friends could go & visit ~

Or maybe their just a story

For someone to read & wonder why

So simple a life sounds so glamorous

Maybe I'll give it a try!
